In the capital of Poland there are many possibilities of travel. Next to trams, buses and taxis the most popular mean of transport is metro. The underground was going to be built before the World War I – in 1903 but not unless 1925 architects started design. Unfortunately, because of the Great Depression, all the planes were postponed. Not until 1938 have the construction started. It was due to the president’s decision.
